Charlie and Chase will soon have a new cousin to play with!

Eric and Judy are having a BOY!

Congrats guys! :)

It’s pretty scary that we were in Camp Pendleton just a day before the fires broke out. Good thing Flora and Aaron are ok. Most of the fires were due to the harsh winds and dry climate. At least one, however, was set by arsonists. I hope they find them so we can stone them to death. >:(

I’m not exactly sure what we were thinking at the time, but George and I decided to wake up at 4 a.m. to go cheer on our friends at the annual Mud Run on Saturday. For those who don’t know, the Mud Run is exactly what it sounds like. It’s an annual event held at Camp Pendleton. A 10K run that includes obstacles in the mud! After hearing about how much fun it was, and feeling a bit inadequate watching people who are decades older than us do it, I think George is movitated to take part in it next year rather than just be an observer. :) Thanks Marc for letting us stay at your place!

Trying out a new look. Don’t know if I like it yet. Guess you’ll find out if it goes back to the old one! haha..

Jean Kim Photography.

My good friend is starting her own photography business. She’s AWESOME, she’s INEXPENSIVE, and she’s TALENTED. Just go to her blog and see for yourself. The only catch is, she’s in Michigan. But hey! The world is a small place, and who knows when you’ll find yourself there looking for a photog to take your picture. :)

Don’t forget to get your flu shots!

I just got mine……….and it HURT! :(

I blogged a couple of weeks ago about the KP offsite I was going to at the Marina del Rey Ritz-Carlton last Monday thru Wednesday. I’m not sure what I was expecting…since I had never worked anywhere that required me to go somewhere overnight and spend every waking moment with coworkers. It was exhausting. It was awkward. But it was also kind of fun. I got to know a lot of my coworkers a lot better…and now that we’re back, everyone seems a bit more upbeat and morale seems to be higher too. And the best part? I actually won a prize!

My coworker took a pic of me and my prize (a mug warmer/USB extension) with his iPhone.

Picaboo is a website that helps you create photobooks with your own digital photos. My coworker was the one who told me about it and showed me the book she created. It was so neat! You get to do so much more and be a lot more creative with Picaboo than with other photobook websites. Plus, you get 50% off your first purchase, which is a great discount since photobooks aren’t cheap. So I decided to make one myself of all of our engagement, wedding and some honeymoon pictures. We haven’t received the actual book yet, but the online version is available here. Check it out and let me know what you think!

My aunt and her husband are moving to China today. It’s a pretty big deal since our family have always been within a five mile radius from each other. I’m sure this is going to be very hard on my grandma, who have always had the luxury of having all of her kids around her. It seems that most of the people in my parent’s generation are making the move eastward once they retire. I wonder where we will end up once we reach our retirement age?

Good luck goo-goo and goo-dieh! Have a safe flight! We’ll miss you…
