Our friends Larry and Sandy had their baby girl over the Labor Day weekend! Chelsea Im was born on August 31, 2008. I don’t have any pictures to post, because her daddy hasn’t been very diligent about sending them out…ahem…but we wanted to welcome the little girl into the world anyway. 🙂

Here she is!

Yesterday was my grandma’s birthday. She celebrates the lunar year, so her birthday lands on a different day every year. And it just so happens that this year, her birthday was the day before George’s birthday! So happy birthday you two! 🙂

It’s my dad’s birthday today!!! Can you believe he’s a grandfather already, and about to be one again for the third time?? 🙂

Happy Birthday Dad!!! I know I don’t say this enough, but I’m lucky to be your daughter. 🙂

What a weekend it was. Not only did we go to Tennessee to see our little brother Nick graduate high school, George, the bestest husband in the world, threw me a pizza party for my birthday when we got back. Awww…and not only that, he found a place that made a 36 INCH PIZZA. It was the BIGGEST thing I had ever seen. 20 people couldn’t even make a real dent in it.

Thanks everyone for coming over and helping me celebrate. I can’t believe I’m 32.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I think this has been the longest dryspell since I started this blog. I know I missed a few birthdays since my last post…namely the Eagle’s and my big sister’s. A big happy be-lated birthday to them! 🙂

I’m working on a new section to be unveiled this Thursday. I’m not going to tell you what it’s about yet, you’ll just have to wait and see…hopefully, this new section will force me to update more often.

Anyhow, we’re hopping on a jetplane to Tennessee this weekend. My little brother-in-law Nick is graduating high school! Woohoo! Only an important occassion like this can drag my lazy-butt out to the east coast. Hehe. 🙂

Congratulations Nick!

We wanted to wish the best uncle in the world a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🙂 I know this is going to be a great year for him…especially since he became a grandpa this year with the arrival of little Cayden.

I can sing the same song
For an hour or more,
I don’t walk the dog,
And I can’t sweep the floor,
I’m four!

I know my colours,
And I can count to ten,
(A skill I demonstrate
Time and again).
I’m four!

There’s certainly is
No ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’
My mission in life
Is to drive you nuts.
I’m four!

You think I’m cute in ribbons and lace,
I like me best with a dirty face.
I’m happiest in tattered jeans
You try your best to keep me clean.
I’m four!

I wonder why the sky is blue,
And everything seems bright and new,
And there’s never enough
For me to do.
I’m four!

I’m a ball of energy,
And fire and noise.
Your world is littered,
With broken toys.
I’m four!

I keep you jumping
And on your toes.
You pray a lot
Because heaven knows
I’m four.

Hold on to hope,
Try to survive,
In a little while
I’ll be turning five,
But there is never a doubt
That you’re alive
While I’m four!
